Lukla serves as the gateway to the magnificent Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. ·         Distance: Approximately 136 kilometers by air.
·         Transportation: The only way to reach Lukla is by taking a domestic flight from Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. The flight takes about 30 minutes.
·         Attractions: Once you arrive in Lukla, you can begin your trek to the Everest region, which is known for its stunning mountain views, traditional Sherpa villages, and Buddhist monasteries. Along the way, you can visit famous landmarks such as Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Monastery, and the Everest Base Camp.
·         Accommodation: There are plenty of accommodation options available in Lukla and along the trekking route, ranging from basic lodges to luxury tea houses.
